Paltrow is another advocate of crypto. She was the face of the bitcoin wallet, Abra, as well as becoming an advisor there from August 2017.
On her ‘Goop’ money page, she has also shared a crypto post titled The Basics of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency—and How to Invest showing that she is an advocate of all things crypto.
2. Snoop Dogg
Although it’s not known how many albums he ultimately sold, Snoop Dog was selling them at 0.3 BTC in 2013. An old school crypto celebrity putting the ‘crip in crypto’.
His associate Tweet garnered some traction on Twitter which goes to show the power of celebrity when promoting crypto based projects.
More recently, Snoop has been giving shout outs to the cryptocurrency exchange – Trade.io.

Mel B has in the past accepted Bitcoin for the purchase of her music and this was back in 2015 so this makes her an early crypto adopter which is kind of cool. She has been quoted as saying:
“I love how new technology makes our lives easier, and to me that’s exciting,” said the artist, on announcing that she’d be accepting crypto payments. “Bitcoin unites my fans around the world using one currency.”

In late 2017, Lionel Messi became brand ambassador for Israeli company Sirin Labs
Producing the world’s first crypto smartphone, Sirin Labs, bagged a high profile name in the form of Lionel Messi.
In 2018, the former queen of pop teamed up with Ripple. Ripple partnered with Madonna to raise funds for orphans in the African nation of Malawi.
The legendary pop icon announced the fundraiser Monday as a way to celebrate her 60th birthday, saying all donations would go to Raising Malawi, a non-profit organization she co-founded with American screenwriter Michael Berg in 2006, to support its work at the Home of Hope orphanage in Malawi.
In the end the campaign made £854,904 which isn’t a bad haul.
